Science behind our products

Fempharma was founded to serve the health of women with products that are based on real science, primarily in the field of gynecology and urology. Our goal is to develop and market new, innovative and niche health-care products for women and to make innovative therapies available in Hungary that are already routinely used in the US.

Our strength is the combination of our basic research results and our clinical research activities and to translate them into practice. Our experience in life sciences and drug development promotes the development of an invention into a product. Our own product development is based on basic scientific research and a registered patent based on these.

Our Team

Our multidisciplinary team includes medical doctors, life science researchers (molecular biologist and clinical researcher), marketing and business specialists. Our main focus is the commercialization of new innovative medical products (drugs and devices) related to women’s health. Mutually beneficial collaborations with the best medical professionals, universities and pharmaceutical companies guarantee outsatnding quality in our products.

The scientific activities of Femparma are directed by Prof. Dr. Peter Takacs, a professor of OB-GYN and urogynecology. In his role, Dr. Takacs is primarily responsible for all research activities including clinical trials, product development and medical oversight.
Our product development is built on the research results and clinical experience of prof. Dr. Takacs spanning several decades. Our products are based on either patented research results or products/therapies proven safe and effective in the US.
